Join us for an informative presentation of the Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO). This event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16 at Lakewood United Church of Christ, 100 Carr St., in Lakewood.  ERPO is a law passed in 2020 that is designed to keep those designated as an “extreme risk” of harming themselves or others, from doing so. This is a law that only works if citizens know how it works and how to use it in these situations. This presentation will help all attendees to understand the law, and how to use it if a situation came up.  The more people understand the law, the more it can be effective in reducing firearm deaths in Colorado.
